If you don't speak up and expect the judges to stand in your perspective and consider it for you, it's unrealistic. In this case, the judges cannot judge the student's own ability. Because he is talking about a big project, it does not reflect his individual achievements and values, and cannot be separated out to judge.

There is even reason to suspect that he did this consciously, pressing the team's progress on himself, trying to cover up his powerlessness.
